Dave Frederick

Over the last 30+ years, I’ve been involved in leadership and leadership development at multiple levels and in multiple ways. During that time I have planted and pastored three different churches, in widely varying areas, served as a school principal, an Area Pastor for my church association, and started a business (Leaders Book Summaries).

My passion is to develop people—to help launch them into their destiny, into the life God has for them. A number of years ago I went through a significant personal trial, one in which I lost almost everything, and it caused me to question much of what I had always believed and given myself to. In the process I became very clear on my personal calling: To encourage, empower, and equip people to be who they are called to be, and do what they are called to do. That understanding has shaped my life over the last ten years.

I love helping people get clear on who they are supposed to be and on what they want to do—and then make real progress on that. When you can live intentionally, knowing where you are going and how to get there, with someone to support you on the way—amazing things can happen. Breakthroughs can happen.

On a personal level, I’ve been married to my wife, Anita, since 1988. We have three great kids, Tehillah, Jeshua, and Shiloah. For fun I love reading, rooting for my Northwestern Wildcats, and training for and running triathlons.
